Jacquie Clay is a songwriter, musician, and artist. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut and grew up in the small town of Hebron. Learning multiple instruments, she always gravitated towards being creative and began writing music at age 12. In addition to attending high school, she was accepted into the prestigious Greater Hartford Academy of Performing Arts located in Hartford, CT. There she had the privilege of playing many master classes and performed at various venues including the Mark Twain House. Furthering her studies at the University of Connecticut, Jacquie premiered a wide variety of multiple instrumentation compositions and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 2012. Besides music, Jacquie is a painter creating art in different mediums including acrylic, and watercolor. She currently resides in Cape Cod, MA, and is actively perusing her artistic ventures.
